My journey has never been defined by an easy road. I have experienced moments of triumph, but I have also walked through seasons of trauma, disappointment, uncertainty and personal struggle. Those experiences have shaped who I am today and, more importantly, the stories I choose to share with others. As The Autistic Author, I use storytelling to transform difficult experiences into messages of hope, courage, resilience and faith. Through Story Time Books & Merch and the stories I create, I aim to connect with people from all walks of life, reminding them that our circumstances do not have to determine our future. A significant new chapter in my life has been discovering my Christian faith. I was recently baptised at the Hope Centre in Logan, marking a deeply meaningful step in my spiritual journey. My baptism represents a renewed commitment to faith, hope, personal growth and serving others through the gifts I have been given. My greatest triumph is not simply recognition, awards or opportunities. It is continuing to move forward when life has given me reasons to stop. I believe our scars can become part of our testimony, and our struggles can become a source of strength and encouragement for someone else. Through my connection with the spiritual community, I hope to encourage people to look beyond their pain and discover meaning, purpose and hope. My stories share lessons from both victory and adversity, creating opportunities for reflection, compassion, faith and connection. I want voters to see more than an award nominee. I want them to see someone who has faced challenges, found renewed faith, continued to grow, and chosen to use his voice to uplift others. If my stories can help even one person feel less alone, find courage, reconnect with faith or believe that a new beginning is possible, then every challenge I have faced has gained purpose. My journey is still being written—and I hope the next chapter inspires others in their chosen faith.
“As previous Menswork Facilitator 2025, I feel that continual growth is paramount within my Local Church at the Hope Centre of Logan City. I will forever give myself to Jesus Christ our lord and saviour.”
