“I nominate Devi aka deb, because I walked the darkness alone and I was both lost and wanted to stay hidden but was screaming for saving, devi is one of the handful that was there for me. Deb is well known at the awards and the work she does daily should be more than a testament or a recognition, it speaks volumes into the spirit of a shaman, to put your physical and spiritual on the darkest of roads the highest of mountains, sink into the depths of the ocean, to meet people spirit brings to you, without a full biography of knowing a persons demographic walk in life, is a journey a shaman trusts. Trusts does not build ease nor does it guarantee safety, I know debs growth for the time I've lived alongside her, in recent years, we both have grown in the most unusual settings from working side by side, then separating for what felt like a short sad goodbye, to pursue where our ancestors were walking us next, which became the next spiritual growth, and one that we speak openly and honestly about today, so authentic so humbling.
